OUR MISSION

The mission of the Friends of Greenbury Point (FGP) is to provide non-governmental support for permanent protection and preservation of Greenbury Point as a Conservation Area, enjoyed by military and civilians for passive recreation. We are dedicated to preserving the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem, conserving wildlife, and honoring the area’s rich cultural and Naval history through advocacy, education, and collaboration with the Naval Support Activity Annapolis.

OUR VISION

The vision of the Friends of Greenbury Point is to restore and protect the Conservation Area as a fully integrated natural ecosystem, strengthen its role in the health of the Chesapeake Bay, and protect it from harmful development. We will conserve wildlife, preserve wild green spaces, and safeguard cultural and historical resources, while honoring and commemorating and educating the public on the area’s rich history. Greenbury Point will remain accessible to the public, providing opportunities for passive recreation and fostering a deeper connection to the environment and heritage.
