Angela is a Severn River Annapolis native. Her childhood summers were sailing the Chesapeake and crabbing on Cox Creek, KI. She has made her career as a local public High School Science teacher. She and her husband have hosted midshipmen for over 20 years. They stay active in USNA life, hold leadership in community organizations, and are blessed to be raising their two water-bound sons in West Annapolis.

Bill Dickinson is a long-time Annapolis resident. He had the good fortune to grow up sailing the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. For nearly thirty years, Bill and his family have been living on Mill Creek adjacent to Greenbury Point.
Bill and his family (both two and four legged) have benefited from the wonder of Greenbury Point and enjoy working in support of this wonderful natural environment for the benefit of future generations.

Jessy has a background in natural resources, environmental education and parks and recreation. She is an avid hiker and has been enjoying the nature of Greenbury Point Conservation area since the early 2000s. Jessy’s first visit to Greenbury Point was in the early 90’s when she was working as a wildlife rehabilitator and assisted with some of the injured ospreys that were released there. She runs the Greenbury Point Biodiversity Project through iNaturalist which has been active since 2020.

William recently retired from the United Nations (UN) having served with the UN and other international organizations in eight countries in diplomatic, political and peacekeeping positions. He advocates for public right of access and use of Greenbury Point and its surrounding navigable waterways. William serves as Vice Chair of the Severn River Commission.

A Florida native and resident of Annapolis since 1997, Valerie is a lover of the natural world, something she shares with her family which includes her husband, two sons and a fuzzy pup. Since her boys’ early years (they’re now 22 & 25), Greenbury Point has served as a place of discovery, respite and connection with the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. In her professional life, Valerie is a visual designer of both digital and print media with a newfound focus on data visualization, having recently completed her Masters in Data Analysis and Visualization at MICA (post empty-nesting).

John Gregory is a retired environmental lawyer who has lived in Annapolis for over thirty years. He most recently served as Senior Counsel for Criminal Enforcement at the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Formerly he was a prosecutor in the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) Environmental Crimes Section and a civil litigator in DOJ’s Environmental Enforcement and Natural Resources Sections. John grew up in Clearwater, Florida and has lived in North Carolina, Louisiana and Washington, DC. He and his wife, Chrissy Perry settled in Annapolis in 1994 and raised their two (now adult) children, Perry and Johnny here, hiking and boating in the Severn River watershed and enjoying the Chesapeake Bay.

Carolyn is a resident of the Annapolis historic district. She spent her childhood on the Naval Academy Yard as the daughter of a Naval officer stationed at the Academy. She returned to Annapolis in 2010 after pursuing a life of adventure all over the world and now enjoys living in one the most beautiful towns in America. She is a practicing landscape architect and environmental planner with expertise in installation master planning (including for the United States Navy), cultural geography, and historic preservation. She loves communing with nature and history at Greenbury Point and finding community with people who share her dedication to protecting the nature, culture, and public benefits of access to this treasure.
