Friends of Greenbury Point,501(c)3, is grateful for the continued support for the preservation of this unique property. VanHollen, Alsobrooks, and Elfreth, fully understanding the role of Naval Support Activity in Annapolis, passed a bill this week(H.R.6628), preventing development of a golf course, or pursuing further restrictions on public access to GPCA. Our aim, at Friends of Greenbury Point, to achieve permanent protection of Greenbury Point Conservation Area as a natural, cultural, and recreational resource for all, has been strengthened by the specific language and foresight added to the NDAA. We remain alert and ready to assist with other needs that still befall the installation, stewarding it as the treasure it is to our community.
