Greenbury Point, located at the mouth of Severn River in Anne Arundel County, is Navy property managed by Naval Support Activity (NSA) Annapolis as a mission-supportive natural resources conservation area. It also serves as a popular hiking destination for nature lovers, runners and dog walkers. While the installation keeps the conservation area open to the public, it is also critical to the NSA Annapolis mission and can close anytime without prior notification.

Schedule:

The public trails directly adjacent to the Nature Center are open daily for public access on the following seasonal schedule:

  • March 1 to October 31 – 5am to 8pm
  • Nov 1 to Feb 28 – 5am to 6pm

East and West Access Road trails are generally open to the public Friday thru Monday with variations from week to week.

Trails are subject to closure without notice based on training, maintenance and safety needs.
